Prior to being acquired by Dynamit Nobel in the late 50's, the Genschow Company was one of Germany's largest sporting goods, fiearms and accessories dealers/wholesalers.

The firearm your inquiring about was generically known as a "Flobert", i.e. inexpensive, singleshot, rimfire. It was made by some other company for sale by Genschow. If it's marked 9mm, it's probably chambered for the 9mm rimfire shotshell cartridge, i.e. it's smoothbored.
