In the early 1900's John Browning designed a pump shotgun for the J. Stevens Arms & Tool Company. It was the Model 520. This shotgun was produced for many years by Stevens.

In the 1930's a revised more streamlined version was put on the market. It was the Model 620. The Model 621 is the same as the 620 except it has a raised matted solid rib on the barrel.

I believe the 620 series of shotguns were made by Stevens, until the late 40's or early 50's.
