    I hope you plan to shoot those tracers on an approved military range, or out over the middle of the ocean.
    Tracers are notorious for starting fires. Many states ban the firing of them for that reason.
    They're also hard on the bore, usually leaving behind a gritty residue that accelerates wear on the bore.
    Tracers will start grass and forest fires like nobody's business.
    In the Air Force, while firing the M60 machine gun on a range with a few inches of snow, tracers started a fire that burned across the dry grass sticking from the snow. Weird! We had to run downrange and kick snow on the grass tops to keep it from spreading to the nearby forest.
    Tracers are interesting but there are very few places they may be fired with any degree of safety. Even the military will ban their use on practice ranges when conditions are too dry.
    The absolute last thing we shooters need is a news report, "A man firing an assault rifle started a 40,000 acre forest fire ..."
    The best ammo against gun control is to use and store firearms responsibly.

    I'll attest to that (personal & horrifying experience)

    It's easy to spot liberals-they are the ones who have no assets to protect and need every handout they can get. They have forbeyed themselves ascendence to a productive lifestyle.
