Smith Serial # on 29-2
Hey you Smith experts - I have a blue 29-2 with serial # S 282577. I've never seen a 29-2 with an S serial number. Any idea what year it was manufactured and would it be considered a "transitional" model? Thanks for any help. gea1911

Changed to N prefix at S/N S333454 in 1969 yours dates to 1966-67.
Older Model 29, but nothing to indicate there is anything rare or unusual about the s/n or the gun.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
