If you wanted a good all around pistol that was small enough to used as a conceal carry weapon, what would it be. I have looked at both the Sprigfield XD and the Taurus millenium. Any other suggestions? Price is a factor.

Ruger SP101. 5 shot .357. Stainless 2". Use one as my summer carry ina inside the waist band holster. 5 rounds in a Bianchi speed strip. Feel to be well armed.

I really like the small Glocks.
But I'm a revolver guy at heart.
    Which do you shoot better?

Find a gun shop that has rentals and shoot as many as you can. Hang out at your local gun club and try to shoot as many different ones as you can (my experience is that most are more than willing to let you try their guns). Find something you like, not what someone else tells you is best.

    Personally, I carry a full size 1911, KelTec .380 and Ruger SP101 2 inch .357mag.

Good luck and have fun with your search.

I have 3 carry weapons, dependant on wardrobe. For heavier clothing (minimum jacket) I carry a Witness Compact 10mm, carried on my hip. For medium clothing, a Beretta 9000s 9mm, carried IWB. And for real warm days, a Kel-Tec P3AT .380, carried on ankle. I never wear shorts, so ther is always someplace to conceal.

That said, If I could carry my Witness all the time, I would. But who wants to wear a coat on a 90 degree day just so they can carry? Most likely you will end up with more than 1 CCW, but for a year-round general purpous piece, an ultra-compact .380 or 9mm or a snubbie .38/.357 is the way to go.

It's easy to spot liberals-they are the ones who have no assets to protect and need every handout they can get. They have forbeyed themselves ascendence to a productive lifestyle.

If you like the SmartCarryr holster you can carry about any handgun you want to, even in shorts and no shirt. You need to decide which gun first, because the holsters come in various sizes depending on your size and what you carry. I did carry a S&W J frame .357 and had to buy another holster when I changed to a S&W N frame .44. You can check them out at www.smartcarry.com

My carry gun is a Kimber Eclipse ultra carry II. Just a little hard to hide in summer
