Toughest Scope ?
I have a problem with an ar I pack on my snowmobile. It's in a paratropper drop case firmly attached to the side. the scope's are getting trashed due the trails can be rough I have a Redfield with little lenses rattleing around inside and a Cats eye that's lost its parralex should I consider an Air gun scope ?

My personal opinion is that I would use the factory iron sights that came with the rifle and forget the scope when used in the manner you indicate. Used to travel with a game warden years ago with firearms on snowmobiles and we never used scopes for the reason you mention. 0 -
GPWEAPON,
My only suggestion is to go with a shorter rifle and sling it "cross-shoulder" while riding...if that is legal in your State...I'm not sure it is here in MN. -Good luck
We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>0 -
the toughest scope, hands down, is made by US OPTICS. pricey, but bomb proof. I love the SN-12

I doubt that you would ever trash any Nightforce ever made, that was bouncing around on your snowmobile.

I carry a scoped rifle on my snowmobile all the time, never had a problem. I have a Kolpin Gun Boot fastened to my machine. You may want to look at your suspension too see if the shocks or springs aren't worn out.
