    Hello.

    Mine dates back to 1934.

It is good but I shan't call it SUPER reliable! If the lock is engaged and you try to cock it, a little bit forcefully or hastily, as you might in emergency, you might engage the lock in the slide and get the pistol in service/disassembly mode! This could be fatal! I never EVER keep it locked.

Also, if you look at the release mechanism, you would not want to keep it Locked and Cocked. I have never tried it, yet. One test is to Cock it without chambering it and then keep it by you. See if it goes off on its own. I think, I shall try it tomorrow and post the results.

Otherwise, I have fired about 200 rounds (Ammunition in India is horribly expensive. Between $2-$1 per piece!) and it is works smooth! I have tried emptying the magazine as soon as I could and it never jammed on me.

Get in touch for more details,

    Cheers.

    Ra.
