Click on this excellent site, it gives you the reassembly steps in pictures.

Thanks, that's for field stripping. The sear spring involves a complete chasis teardown.I've seen the parts breakdown page as well, but the drawing of the sear spring is too generic to see the details.I need a picture of the top of the chasis with the slide removed or someone with a good memory to describe the orientation of the spring ends.

Nope, thanks. Got that one as well. It's number 34 and they show it floating in space with both ends pointing up.

I created a visual walkthrough on how to enhance the CZ-52s trigger, and it requires pretty much stripping down and putting back together the entire rear portion of the frame, therefor, explains how to do it. I have a link to it below:

    http://www.paladinrepublic.com/cz-52triggerjob.htm

    BTW.
That walkthrough DOES NOT explain how to take that particulear piece apart, because their is no need to ever remove it. I will make a pictorial tomorrow if I have time showing how it fits. It's more of a handleing hastle then it is a complication. More or less, the tip of the spring that protrudes outwords fits over the top of the front "bridge" on the mechanism and the lower part of the spring fits against that little wall in the front of the housing.
To make it simple, you first put the mechanism in, have the pin that holds it inserted from the right hand side of the frame to hold the mechanism in place ( but not far enough to block the spring from being inserted ), slip the spring in on the slot in the mechanism it fits in to, to where the bottom fits against the front of the frame, and the top of the spring over the top of the mechanism, line them up with the pin ( easier said then done ) and push the pin that holds them in place on through.

That's exactly what I needed. Thanks! I love the drawing of the wings as the sear spring takes wings. My new one will arrive next week. I hope I hear the old one when the vacume cleaner sucks it out of the carpet, maybe I'll have a spare to practice with. Anyone sell a minature "batters cage" to catch flying pistol springs? I may make one out of screen wire for my next attempt.
