What is a Astra 9mm handgun worth?

I was given a Astra 9mm from my dad. Just curious of its worth. Good condition with clip and holster. Model 600/43 ser# 8221

Perhaps we could help you if we knew which model Astra you have? Astra was in business for some 85 years and they made many different models of 9mm's over that time span.

It's definitely a plus that your pistol is in the German W W II procurement range, ( It should be Waffenamted ). It's not a positive thing when the pistol is described as being in "Good Condition", this has a decidedly negative effect on it's collectors value.

Here is a link to the Astra 600 on Pancho's excellent site. Compare your pistol to the one pictured, as to condition, amount of finish, grips etc. Let us know, we will be better able to give you an idea of your pistol's fair market value.

They aren't particularly rare. In the mid '60s, they were a $40-50 gun. Now, probably $150-250, depending on condition.
