B2000
I was told that a B2000 would shoot 23/4 or 3 inch shells by changing barrels. True or false. Also just how many shells will it hold in magazine? I can only get one. Thanks

I can only get one shell to go into magazine. Is there a trick or plug needs to be shortened? 0 -
I have a B2000. It has 2 barrels, one in 2 3/4 and one in 3 inch. I have not tried the 3 inch but with the 2 3/4 barrel I can chamber one and put two in the tube mag. This setup works very well for me. As far as I can see there is no plug to remove or other means of increasing the tube mag. capacity. 0 -

YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK AT YOUR PLUG IF THE END IS BROKE OFF THE SHAFT MAY BE INTANGLED IN THE MAG. SPRING OR THERE IS F.O.M. IN THE MAG. TUBE/SPRING.YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET AT LEAST TWO ROUNDS INTO THE MAG.

The mag plug can be removed with a spent casing. Two rounds of either 2 3/4" or 3" rounds should fit in the mag. Also remember that one round will be exposed in the loading port. That is a feature to allow changing a shell if you are hunting ducks, and geese should appear.
Keep in mind the B2000 is gas operated and the orifice in the barrel determines if it will cycle. A 3" chamber barrel has to small of an orifice to cycle the 2 3/4" shells.

Thanks for the info. Went to Browning web site and was able to download owners manual. It sure helps when tou have the right stuff!! 0
