Two shot groups???

    If both shots are where your expecting them to be ... the answer is ... little to no advantage. Remember in hunting your firing from a cold barrel and 2-3 shots are typically all your going to get.

    If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

    I would confirm cold bore shot from range session to session, if your point of impact is good with your point of aim and the bullet strikes the paper within an inch+- of your last range session I would be happy with that from a large magnum.

    I usually just confirm zero with one or two shots. I shoot three shot groups often to see which loads/rifle are accurate. I shoot 5 shot groups when I want to test myself when I know the load/rifle is accurate and I have to allow for all conditions and repeat good shots to the same hole.
    What your situation is I would say works just fine. -Good luck.
