On my saffari to India last summer I had the chance to try it out on a very angry Bengal tiger,it took me a few shots but I was finially able to upset him even more...just kidding,I have shot at least 10 squirrels in my yard and killed all of them, great in town but best be a good hit...

I dispatched a rabbit with a Colibri out of a Henry lever action with a head shot.

Try the Super Colibri they are 500 fps and not really any louder.

For close shots on small game they will work with proper shot placement. They don't have enough energy to create a sufficient shock or wound cavity to overcome poor shot placement.

They are fun to teach youngsters to shoot though. My 6yoa son shoots them from his Henry youth lever action at close targets with my supervision.

The possum was probably just tired from fighting with your dogs and cats and took a nap.

I live in the mountians and we have feral cat issues. I trap them and then dispatch em with a 22 bolt gun. I tried the super calibri's a few times with a direct shot between the eyes. Talk about PISEED OFF cats!!! It takes two or three shots to kill them. A 22 short lays them out way better. Out of the bolt gun they sound like a pellet gun.

    ....I never met a gun I didn't like!
