Anyone have a site for old ax heads? Can't find much. Thanks

are you talking about "old" meaning as in indian artifacts? If so, a search on the net using "indian artifacts" should produce many sites for you to peruse.0 -
If you're talking about old, as in what was used before chainsaws; try a search on Chemical Ax; I don't know what you'll find, but those were the axes that were tempered using some chemicals that made the surface very hard, while keeping the inner portion tough. The heads generally ran about four pounds and were serious four chopping down trees. Like everything else, something was invented that caused them to go into antiquity. 0 -
I have a few old Iron type ax heads that someone told me alot of people collect! Can't find anyone much less alot. Any other suggestions? Thanks Again. 0 -
Sometimes I see them at gun shows. To be collectible they have to have some kind of writing on them to designate who made them. I am out in Washington state so maybe due to the logging history they are more collectible out here. Email me at ohdannej@yahoo.com and I will see what I can find.
