Smith and Wesson scopes?

Anyone had experience with S&W scopes. I have seen them advertised and wondered about them. Who makes them, etc. Thanks!

  There are several companies in Japan that make parts or assemble scopes for the majority of companies selling optics in this country. Most companies will not (or cannot) tell you who made their scopes. Springfield, Inc has changed suppliers several times, due to quality control problems.
  
  Your best bet is to buy a scope sold by a company that has a long track record, satisfied customers, & a lifetime warranty.
