I was heavily into Ruger collecting a decade ago but my funds are currently needed elsewhere so I'll pass along a great find to anyone interested.
A North TX pawn shop owner (Colt SAA collector) is thinning his herd of non-Colts and has a Ruger Blackhawk Flattop .357 ser. 33xxx with rubber grips and original box, both in 97+ % condition. I think he wants $800. Five years ago the box by itself was almost $500!
If anyone is seriously interested I'll pass along the shop info.0 -
I did a search on the ruger site, and it looks like it was produced in 1968.

"Reference of Ruger Firearms, Volume 2"
Non-prefix Number 1 estimated quantities:
22" .222, beavertail, no sights = 295 Model# S22L
22" .222, Alex Henry, no sights = 230 Model# S22L
The most common is:
26" .222, beavertail, no sights = 575 Model# S26M
Again these are estimated quantities.
jnmiller75 is right on with the DOM, somewhat rare as non-prefix, I would only be guessing if I gave you a $ amount.0
