red ramp site installation

I am in search of the "old method" of installing the red ramp.. not the plastic stuff that Brownells' offers.. I need to find out where I can purchase the two compounds that were mixed together, then this mix was placed into the prepared ramp space...it harden then was finished off by light filing... I know this is more work but there is little chance that this sight will shoot out.
