357sig, 40s&w and 10mm barrels

I have seen ads for 40s&w and 357sig barrels for the Glock 20 10mm. My question is do you need a different magazine for these barrels to funtion properly in a Glock 20? Thank You. [8D]

    Since all three of these calibers are based on the same shell the same mag should work with all three.

    The .40 is just a short 10mm, and the .357sig is a necked down .40 cal. I see no reason why the same mag cannot be used for all three.

    The .357 Sig is not a necked down.40 S&W it is .0015 longer than a .40 S&W.Do not neck down .40 S&Ws to make a.357 Sig.Use the correct brass.Other than that where you are starting out with a 10mm you shouldn't have any trouble as it is the longest of the three. The .40 S&W being the shortest.[:)]

    ATF.... You are correct, but my response was only to address Greg's question of magazine compatability, not chamber demensions.

    Since he did not mention "forming his own brass" I assumed he was refering to factory ammo in those calibers.

    For the purposes of magazine compatibility the .0015" difference between the .357sig and the .40 is a mute point.

    There is a .357 sig conversion for just about any noteable gun made in .40SW. But, the 10mm is considerably longer and with one exception, I have never seen a kit to convert a 10mm to anything except 9x25mm Dillon. The only pistol I am aware of with conversion kits to cover any common caliber is the Tanfoglio Witness. If you have a 10mm or .45 witness, you can convert it to 9mm para, 9x21, .38 super, .357 sig, 9x25mm and .40SW. If the original firearm was not chambered in 10mm or .45 ACP, it never can be. The conversion kits for Witness' will have the new barrel, mag and appropriate slide. If you have a 10mm, you will only need the barrel for .40 or .357, but will need a slide for 9x19, 9x21 and .38 super. .45 model will require new slide for any conversion.

    It's easy to spot liberals-they are the ones who have no assets to protect and need every handout they can get. They have forbeyed themselves ascendence to a productive lifestyle.

    Really glad to see this topic about 10 mm barrel/caliber changes.

    We also own a Glock 20 and have considered the change to 40 cal. or 357 Sig.

    Shopping around we found the following at Glockmeister in Arizona.

    They offer KKN barrels for the Glock 20 in 40 cal. and 357 Sig as well as a kit that allows use of the 22 rimfire cartridge The 22 kit includes a slide, magazine and I expect some different springs.

    The barrels go for $164 and the 22 kit for over $200. Surely there would be some shipping charges.

    Hope one of our members can offer information on the both companies, Glockmeister and KKN .

    BTW they also offer a number of caliber/barrel changes for other models of Glock.
