so i'm from illinois in some cases the seller may ask for a copy of my foid card or should i automaticly send a copy with payment

  Unless your a UC trying to set up a sting operation (and the seller is a idiot), YES you need to send a copy of your FOID.

  light, I sell collector ammo and buyers from the occupied territories of Daleyville and Massholia either send the FOID copy or do without the ammo. It's utter BS, but that's what you get for having such drooling idiots running those areas. I don't consider them part of America, even if they do hold some Americans hostage.
