SKS - detachable ak mags???
I have not seen one in awhile - what are they going for (norinco/china)? The one I saw has the metal mag housing - not just a hole in the wood like some of the others. Is $250.00 outrageous or what do they go for in your area????

To the best of my knowledge the Chinese made ( 2 ) models of the SKS specifically to take the AK Magazines. The Model "M", Sporter configuration with out a folding bayonet and a conventional magazine release. And the model "D" with bayonet and special magazine housing/release. Both Models, at this point in time are well worth $250. If it's a Model "D" you talking about, it's a steal. Make sure nobody has screwed with it internally though. I not sure if the conventional SKS trigger mechanism parts will interchange?

Thanks - I'll check but I'm sure now that it is the modle "D".. Has the bayonet and special release... Now where the hell is my gun stash, dang women!!!!!
