Thomas .45
How many Thomas semi-automatic pistols were made in .45ACP? I can't find anything on them in the Standard Catalog of Firearms. A friend of mine had one years ago, and he sold it. Recently he found 2 magazines for it that he forgot he had. Any idea of the value of these guns/and magazines? Production numbers or years in business??
Thanks!
Thanks!

The Blue Book has a little information and says it was made by A.J. Ordance it was a 6 shot double action only,3.5" barrel, fixed sights, checkered grips, delayed blowback action with a stainless steel barrel and it was discontinued in the mid 70s.[:)]

I happen to have one of those "Thomas D/A Pistols". I have not seen but two others, ever. (Maybe they were yours,[:D]) I like it very much, in spite of its fifteen pound long double action trigger. It is fairly accurate, and small in size, although a bit heavy. Kicks like a mule, due to its unique "manual-dispersed" delayed, straight line blow back.
If your friend wants to dispose, or some info. on those two magazines, send me an e-mail, see what we can do.[:D][:D][:D][8D][8D][;)]0
