Anyone know the value or any history of this? It belonged to my grandmother. My uncle bought it from a german soldier.

  As the previous poster noted we need at the least specific physical dimensions and caliber of your pistol, quality photos would be much better.
  
  Galesi was a little known Italian manufacturer of inexpensive handguns who was in business from the 1920's until sometime in the 1980's?.
  
  
  With the Roman Numeral date, your pistol was probably made prior to W W II.
