anyone ever hear of a Spanish Astra inox? i have one with a 6''(i think) stainless steel barrel. it also says alexadria arms. this pistol is interchangeable with 357 barrel. i also have that. how much is it worth?

Please explain what you mean by being interchangeable with .357 barrel.I have four Astra revolvers that are blue, the only ones I have seen that are called Inox are the stainless models.I sold quite a few of them about ten or twelve years ago in .44 mag. caliber.[:)]

Inox means it is stainless as in inoxidizing (rustproof) Blue book shows between 125.00 - 250.00 depending on condition.

Astra sold a 9mm / 357 convertable DA rev but only in blue and with a 3" bbl

no, this is 44 magnum and 357 magnum. i belive theres a pin that you remove in this model and then place the other barrel on/in. im not quite sure of how this works but there is another barrel for it in 357 mag.

You need more than the barrel you'd also need a cylinder or some inserts.[?]

    ASTRA 357 POLICE
intended as a police or military weapon, this 6-shot solid frame swing-cylinder revolver was available in .357 MAGNUM, .38 SPECIAL, or 9mm PARABELLUM chamberings, and 9mm STEYR or 9mm LARGO could be provided as a replacement or combo offering in the 9mm version. the cylinders accepting rimless cartridges were supplied with moon / loading clips.

    ASTRA 250
a smaller version of the ASTRA 960, this had a short BBL and a rear sight that was merely a groove in the frame top. it could be had in .22 LR, .22 WRF, .22 WMRF, .38 S&W LONG, or .38 SPECIAL chamberings. finish was usualy blue (about 90% of total production) but a stainless-steel variant was offered under the designation ASTRA 250 INOX.

    ASTRA 680
introduced in 1981, this variation of the model 250 had minor changes / improvememts in the shaping of the frame and recoil shield. probably these modifications had more to do with facilitating manufacture that improving the design.
