dragunov(psl) feed problem

ok so i have a romanian dragunov look alike (PSL) and i have a slight problem sometimes when it is trying to chamber a round,.. aparently the round gets smashed up against the front of the magazine instead of poping up and chambering like it should,..ive filed down the little ramp on the mags to make them smoother and at a easier angle,.. what else can i do to these mags to get rid of this problem?
