Olympic Arms Plinker cast or forged receiver

I do not know how to tell the difference between a casted receiver vs a forged receiver. Is it by the serial number / Thanks in advance Iowa

  A cast recvr will have more rounded corners in areas like the magazine well opening and around the mag release button.

  All Oly-Arm Plinker models use forged receivers:

  All Plinker Plus models come with forged upper and lower. However the Plinkers that were made just prior to the Plus model, which just came out are cast upper and lower.
