Browning BAR manual

Is there a manual for the Browning BAR rifles that would help me take one apart to clean it thouroughly or would it be best to send it off to be cleaned. I know nothing about it but thought if I was to find a GOOD book or manual I could possibly do it myself. Do you feel this is dooable for a newbie or not.

    Hi Norm,
    To clean the BAR well it is not necessary to remove more than the trigger group. Knocking out the pins that hold it in place will get you access to the parts inside. This link has an exploded view that may help you.

    just go to browningarms.com, click on manuals, and they have an excellent picture filled manual free for the printing all about the bar and the boss system.
