Value of L1A1

The local gun and pawn store sells century L1A1 rifles for $600.00. Century are hit and miss on quality so you may get more. The L1A1 uses the more expensive inch pattern 20 round mags which are not as desirable as the metric mags so the L1A1 usually sells for a little less than the Fn-FAL metric patterns. I have a Imbel rifle with an Imbel reciever that was built from a kit and I really enjoy shooting it. The spanish and Indian .308 ammo is cheap and fun to shoot.

I should have posted FN-FAL since they are full metric guns. For some reason I had L1A1 on my mind. I bought inch pattern mags years ago by mistake and find they work great with a little file and fit. I'm considering selling one of these since I have alot of the Imbel sporter models which shoot just as good and look great with standard stocks and flash suppressors. Thanks!

"...Indian .308 ammo..." Is unreliable. And so is anything from Century.
"...FN-FAL's..." They ain't, but only because FN didn't build them. You did. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. Go here and ask.

Not another Century basher! I bought one and it runs great. Maybe, I got lucky, maybe they're better than what a lot of people think. I've built 2 FAL's since buying the Century made rifle and I think the Century quality of my rifle is great! Just my 2 cents worth, but ckeck out the FAL site listed above for a good appraisal of your rifles' value and also it would be a good place to sell it.
