Colt Anaconda Double Stamped
I have a Colt Anaconda with the ANACONDA stamped on the barrel twice offset from each other creating a blurred effect. Does this increase the value of the pistol at all?

There are probably a few guys out there somewhere that collect such mistakes, but generally speaking no. Price comes from demand, and you have to find someone interested enough to pay more for it. It certainly won't shoot any better that way, and many collectors want such items in NIB or unfired condition. 0 -
It's sort of hard to say if it would bring a premium as a collector's piece. I remember someone selling a Ruger Mini-14 Bi-Centenial edition that was double stamped, they wanted a premium for it. They probably got something more for it. And there was a post from a guy on another board that had a M1A that Springfield Armory was misspelled. I went back and looked that up, some 6 or 7 pages of discussion on it, some of the posters think it would definately be worth more. My suspicion is that it would bring a premium to someone out there, may have to look around to find that person, but even if you get an extra $50.00 bucks for it, what the heck?
