Barnes TS reload data

I am getting started reloading and need data for 7mm-08 and 300WSM.
Any help or info appreciated.

    First, go to the nearest sporting goods store and start with a good, brand new manual. Hornady, speer, Nosler, and Sierra all should be there somewhere where they sell reloading supplies. If they don't have one look on the on-line auctions or go to where I buy stuff @www.gunstop.com.
    For updated information, go to www.hodgdon.com, and www.imrpowder.com and www.accuratearms.com and they will get some basic loads to start with.
    I had the same problem with my brand new 25 Wssm as you might be having with your 300WSM....too new for data. Hodgdon would be your best bet there. -Good luck

    I forgot to reiterate one very important thing. DO NOT START RELOADING WITHOUT A MANUAL FIRST! Just have a good idea what you are doing before putting powder into cases. Follow the manual 'golden rule', start low and work up.
    I've pushed the limit a couple times and am lucky to have my face still on.

    If you are refering to the Barnes TSX, barnes advises to use the same data as the X-bullet. I have had great results doing just this. I shoot them from a .270, .308, and a 30-06. They are very devistating loads!

    Thanks for replies...
    I received Speer 13 for a gift and no info for 300WSM....
    So I went back and got the Nosler manual figuring I'd use Partitions as my primary hunting load.
    After reading so many favorable reviews on Barnes and particularly TSX, I went to buy a Barnes manual but the TSX is not included in the current manual.
    Also, I had read that the reduced bearing surface on the TSX means you get higher velocities with same powder weights.
    Any more info appreciated.

    I have been loading the Barnes coated XLCs for my dad for some time now and I think that we can all agree, they are devastating on game. I am gearing up to try the Triple Shocks this coming season. Less bearing surface means less pressure for the same weights( with everythng else being equal). From what I have read, it is perfectly safe to use the loads listed for the standard "X" bullets to begin your load development. If I can get my Steyr Pro-Hunter to shoot them well, I will be using them this upcoming season, mostly based on past experiences and all of the glowing reviews. Good luck!!!

    bigdog, whats the secret to get the XLCs to group good. How much short of the lands and grooves do you seat the bullets?? Trying to load for .257 Weatherby with no good results.
