I have a Remington 1100 410 listed on this site. user name 'duckhunter" good luck.
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.0 -
Given the choices you made..semi-auto and bolt action, I would take the semi-auto. You might also look into a 410 pump action. Most any good gun shop will be happy to order one of either for you.

I too am in People's Rep. of MN. About a year or so ago Scheel's Sports and I think Cabella's had some Remington 1100's in .410 and if I remember right even had choke tubes. Not bad price but was Special. Nice wood, roll engraved, seemed like they were around $675, maybe less. These are usually a special run gun and are not made continuously like the 870 express. Might ask a Scheel's salesman to see if one is in the inventory of stores. 0 -
for a bargain, look at some old semi auto high standard 410's. very reliable guns. or as the others said, you cant beat an 1100 or an old 11-48. 0 -
Went to buy a .410 a few years ago to use on the squirrels in my pecan trees, they had a Remington 870 in 28 guage on sale. Best deal I made all year. Squirrels had a bad year. 0 -
as perfect as a 28ga is, its just a litle more expensive to kill a squirrel than with a 410! heck...i shoot and kill them with a daisy and get about one a day in my 100 year old pecan trees![8D] 0 -
The old Savage 59 and 59a tube bolt actions are really well balanced and reasonable $60 - $130 if you can find one, The early ones were decent walnut. Mossberg made a good BA numbered 183. If you shoot much you want to buy a mec 600 as .410 shells are way high and yet can be reloaded for less than 10 cents. A Stevens 311 is a really nice double but they are sky high. Remington 1100 and 11/48 are great .410s too!! Inside 30 yards with #9 or 8 1/2 shot you'll do well even with a 2 1/2 shell. Stay away from 4 and 6 shot in the .410. 0 -
