S & W Model 25

Does anyone know if S & W ever made the model 25 in .45 ACP with an
8 3/8 inch barrel? I know they made it in .45 Colt with an 8 3/8 in. barrel.

  Nope.
  
  According to the Blue Book, the Model 25/25-2 was made in .45ACP and .45 Auto Rim, with a 6" bbl. The early model made in .45 LC with a 6 1/2" bbl.
  
  Only the Model 25-5 was made with an 8 3/8" bbl. and only in .45 LC. It was also available with a 4 or 6 inch barrel.
