I bought a BSA illuminated reticle mil dot scope for my M1A1. Was under $100 new.

Haven't tried it out yet but looks like it should be pretty much what I wanted. If memory serves, it is 6-24, 40 mm.

I prefer mil-dot reticles myself. But you are asking for a a tall order to get good optics in high power with the reticle you want.

I would suggest the Tasco titan or World Class. If you find an older one that was made in Japan the optics are better than those made currently in China. Simmons and Bushnell both have about that class of scope. Also if you haven't heard of their scopes Millet might make something about that range. -Good luck.

We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>

if your eyes aren't GREAT, you arent going to use any 1/4 moa dot. That is only 1/4" at 100yds (roughly less than or slightly larger than your bullet hole). Now if you mean a 4moa dot, that sounds right.

If you are looking to shoot a decent rig long range and be able to click to zero,..the only scope in your price range is the tasco (used to be tasco) Super Sniper. Available in 10x, 16x and 20x, with mil dot reticle.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
