bees wax

I got some of these swaged bullets from zero ,and I am pretty sure the lube they use is bees wax ,any good way of getting it off the bullet once it is loaded ?

the crap is all over my bullets ,and when they fill up in the tray it gets all over the cases ,the stuff is pretty sticky ,I am sure it could build up on the feed ramp if left ,I have been wiping them down one at a time with a rag ,and a bit of lighter fluid ,but man is that a pain

    You might call a few bees and see if they'd take it back[:)]

    It's highly unlikely to be bee's wax. Bee's wax is expensive stuff.
    What calibre? Either way, quit using lighter fluid and use regular cleaning solvent.

    sprinkle some powdered mica on the bullets , this will aid lubrication and take away the stickiness

    they were expensive bullets .45 acp {of course},i am pretty sure it's bees wax ,it is thin ,and clumps up looks just like ear wax

    when i use the lighter fluid ,i just squirt a rag about the size of a nickel ,it leaves so much wax off the tip of the bullet ,i can only clean about three in the same spot ,using cleaning solvent would cost a fortune

    How about putting them on a screen and popping them in the oven (250 degrees?) or the microwave for a bit.

    how about i bring them over ,and stick a few hundred live rounds in your oven {lol}

    How about just putting them in your trusty tumbler, adding some untreated corn cob or clean saw dust and tumbling for around ten to fifteen minutes? I do, and they come out nice and shiny, "Look 'ma, no gunk!"

    Manually polishing and "slurping" beeswax is for the honey-bee. I am more of a bumble-bee.
