Bergmann Rifle

Anyone have info on a Bergmann Model 3 rifle (not semi nor auto).

Owner want to offer it for sale and he and I don't know much about it. He claims it was captured in WWI. No photos available.

  Have you actually seen this rifle? and verified caliber, action type, markings etc.
  
  The reason I'm asking is that my references identify the Bergmann #3, as a 6.5mm semi-auto pistol that dates to 1896.

  No, I haven't. I was talking to the wife of the owner who described it as a rifle. When I spoke to the owner directly, I mentioned I had known of the MP18 but that it was an auto. He said it was a rifle. I'll try to get over to their home and see it. Thanks for your research.
