They might work, but I would call technical assistance before I got one. I'm assuming you want composite and not wood or I would recommend looking at Boyd's. They have a great selection of stock makes and styles and good technical assistance to help you order the right thing.

We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>

Hey Red. I going to assume you might want wood or a laminated stock too. Check out the selection at rifle-stocks. But if you do want the composite, they don't have em. I'm wanting a 12FV in 243 by next year to put on the Tac-Driver stock. I'm about to make a post on the 12FV series asking for opinions on them. I would like to hear how you like yours. Good luck on your stock.

    Nate.

Nanate25, I am completely happy with my Model 12 FV. It shoots better than my Remington 700 Sendero in 25-06, and I paid a heck of a lot more for the Remington. I had a trigger job done on the 700 and the accutrigger on the Savage is still better. The only thing I don't like about the FV is the stock. It is pretty cheap and the forend is way too narrow. I am in the hunt for a different stock. Since I posted this I have found several that will work. Bell & Carlson makes one that fits and Midway sells a Savage factory laminate stock.
