Tightening 1100 stock
I found a good deal on a Remington 1100 12 guage today. The only thing wrong is that the buttstock is a little loose. Is this hard to tighten? Thought I'd check before I bought it. Actually,I did put $20 down since the rest of the gun looks very good-excellent.

Easy to tighten. Pull off the butt plate or recoil pad and about 3 inches down in the hole will be a large nut with a big screwdriver slot in it. Tighten away.. Since the nut and slot are so big, I use a

Check to see if the recoil plate is between the stock and receiver before you tighten it.
