High Standard 107 question (Bobski?)
Hey High Standard buffs, quickie question.
What's a good price for a 98%+ Supermatic 107 *CITATION* military with original box, extra mag and papers?
Is this model supposed to come with extras like compensator, bbl weights, or some other doodads?
I know this one has the sight bridge, so it isnt quite as good as the non-bridged one, but I got to take what I can get in this @#$ing state!
Any help is appreciated!
By the way, what's the difference between the Citation, Tournament, and the Trophy? Its just the finish, right? Which one is the best? Worst?

all the bells and whistles should always come with the gun for book value. you didnt mention if its a trophy or a citation or a tournament. 0 -
THE SUPERMATIC TROPHY WAS AVAILABLE WITH/WITHOUT THE ACCCESSORIES YOU MENTIONED (WHICH WERE TOTALLY USELESS) I SAW 2 RECENTLY AT A GUN SHOW FOR 800-900 WITHOUT THE GOODIES. I PURCHASED 1 IN 1967 AND STILL SHOOT IT! 0 -
Hello IMHO Worth is what you intend the gun for almost no one uses the muzzel brake but if you ever go to sell gun it will bring more $$$ with all parts plus box. If I was going to buy to shoot I would rather have a 95% gun that I could ransom rest then a New in the box pistol That I could not test. as far as price The Tournament is lowest then Citation then the Trophy is the highest. I am not sure but the tournament might not have adjustable trigger. Check the frame as some of them do crack if you use Hi VEl. ammo Cheers Karl 0 -
having a hi std w/o the bells and whistles is like owning a 57 t-bird w/o the little round windows. (hard to believe, 57 t-bird and a 102 hi std are the same age!) everyone is circling around a number figure, i will go out and say this, 500 for tourn, 550 for citation, 600 and up for trophy(waste of money.) they are all thge same gun as far as im concerned. the citation is still the best buy in town. i just bought a tournament 106 for 550 100% w/o box if that will help. 0
