Ruger P 345 .45 acp Pistol

I am thinking of buying a new ruger P 345. Are there opinions out there as to how accurate and how it funtions as compared to another .45 auto? I have owned a P 90 and it was a chunk, but very reliable and very accurate.

    I too have a p90. Looked at a p345 at show. It did feel good in my hand so I put her down. Frame is so light that pistol seemed to be unbalanced to me. Hsven't shot one to help you more. They do seem to be getting a lot of looks thou. To me, feeling good in my hand is a must. I just unloaded a Glock 26 today for that very same reason.

    My 1st Shot was a bullseye on Gerber baby food lid at 20 ft using a Colt Woodsman. I was age 5. Been driving nails ever since. Thanks Dad, you were the best teacher I ever had.

    excellent feel, same reliability as the old style excellent accuracy and reliability 1 of guns & ammo 2005 guns of the year

    I also have a P-90 and what you say is true about them. I thought about buying a p345, but after I read the test results and saw that they are not as accurate as a P-90 I decided against it. I also don't like the plastic loaded chamber indicater.

    i have a p345pc and think it is a big improvement over my p-94 in 40 cal, accuracy is nothing to complain about, but will no more on that subject after i get the use of my other arm back!!!!! mine has a metal loaded chamber indicator also. [:D][:D][:D]

    FWIW---Gun Tests magazine gave it a "Conditional Buy"...I don't recall all their critiques, but it didn't fare as well as I expected with them. [V]

    Loaded chamber indicater is not plastic and this thing is light which can make it unacurate because of reciol.[8D]
