concealment gun

I am looking for a good concealment gun. I have been told the sig 225, or a compact 1911, and glock would all be good choices. I myself kind of like the Springfield XD compact. Can anyone help me decide what is the best concealment gun for me?

    What feels good in your hand and carry? What do you shoot best with? All of the guns mentioned are good and there are others. Nothing less than a 9mm. Shoot the guns and then make the best decision. [8D] PS Always lisen to Mark

    I like the P225 and feel that the lack of a manual safety (it uses a decoker instead) as well as the double action feature are a plus for concealed carry. The pistol is rather small and flat and the 9mm chambering meets the needs for most folks.

    I really like my Colt Lightweight Commander for carry. You may look into the USP Compact if you like the polymer frame.

    I really like the sub com xd myself...still has an accessory rail and all the quality's of a glock ( including no external safety ) for less money....on thing others have told me to look at and I have and really liked is the s&w 440pd 12 oz and man stopping .357 mag power....and they feel good in my hand....just my .02

    imay not know it all.....but at least I know that!

    After shooting my buddy's S&W Chief's Special 9mm I would have to put it on the top of the list for concealed carry , light weight 20 oz , decent price , excellent shooter , small yet powerfull & easy on the hands ! yep the best kept secret is the Chief Special 9mm ...back to the superbowl , go Philly !dont pass - run Mc Nabb ! ha ha , how you doing "D"...............................Billy

    You should also check out the SIG P239...even smaller than the 225 with all the same great SIG features. Comes in 9mm, 357 SIG, and 40 SW.

    SW 640/.357mag, shrouded hammer, you don't even have to pull it out, just buy a new coat.

    Kimber Pro CDP II - CDP stands for custom defense package. Need to try different guns, but this one for me was the top of the heap.

    I recently bought a Glock 36 in 45acp. I do not like the looks of a Glock but say it is small and shoots well and might be another choice for you to consider.

    Funny you mentioned the Sig 225, I was in a shop today and saw one with hard case for $335. I think it would make a great carry gun.
