H.H. Heiser holster
I have a holster that is marked H.H. Heiser, Denver Colo Maker in an oval cartouche, and also what appears to be a model number: 425

It looks like it could be for a Colt 1911 or 1911A1, but is slightly too narrow. The only other guns I can think of that look like it might fit are a Colt Match Target Woodsman or 1902 Military or Sporting .38 Auto. Does anyone know what this model Heiser holster was made to fit? Does it have any value? It is well used but well cared for, and appears to be of excellent workmanship.

Hello I can't help on what it fits but It IS worth something This maker is well known and made Sheaths for the early RANDALL knives as well as Holsters "praise the hardball gun" 0 -
They can be very collectable. Do a Google search and you will find many listings for these on auction sites. I know he made holsters in the 1910's and 1920's. His catalogs from that period are also collectable. I believe there is also a book that covers his work, though I can't find the reference. Jim Lockwood of Legends in Leather makes Heiser reproductions and has a collection of Heiser catalogs. Good luck with your search. 0 -
