Ruger question
I have a newer ruger 10/22 semi auto, probably 95 or 96 year when i got it but all the sudden it doesnt' like to fire, i put in a new firing pin to no luck but kinda of iffy about sending it back and have had problems with the quailty of all my local gunsmiths so not sure what to do

Did some of the last Ruger M77 MkII's come with the new LC6 trigger that they are putting in the "Hawkeyes"? I recently purchased a M77 MKII and the trigger on it is much better then any of the Ruger's I have owned or fired in the past. Thanks,

I believe Ruger started the numerical prefix ( in your case #13 ) in 1968, in response to the gun law that was enacted that year. Every year after that, it increased by one number.
If the above is correct? Your pistol was made in 1981. It would only be considered a Mark I if it had target ( adjustable ) sights and the heavy target barrels. The fixed sight pistols made up to 1982 were called "Standard Models".

I looked at the website and it states the 13- were made in 1976-77. It is a standard model with fixed sights. Thanks both of you.

your gun was made around 1976 , mark I's do not have a bolt hold lever on the left side , Mark II do , it has nothing to do with the kind of sights or barrel it has 0
