    The shot pattern is not as tight because the shot wad is "pinballing" a little on the way out the barrel. I could never understand the reasoning behind gauge reducers. If somebody wants a 20 then buy one.

    A couple shooting buddies had them and they seemed to work fine. Biggest problem is they add about 18 ounces to gun. Doesn't seem like much, but they felt they really noticed the drag on their swing.
    One finally bought another Citori and had it made into a carrier barrel gun(full length Briley tubes)and likes it now. I agree with
    toolman, in that they are nearly as expensive as another gun. These guys felt they had to adjust to another gun with differences of length of pull, weight, ect. Some of it was in their head, some was
    their better half could deal with conversion tubes but not four different shotguns, even tho between you and me the cost was nearly the same.

    Thanks for the info. I should have had a little more detail. I am wondering on the ones that just fit in the chamber like the little skeeters.
