Glock S&W .40 chambers ARE "unsupported" and HAVE polygonal rifling. Polygonal rifling, although purported to give better accuracy than traditional rifling, leads up severely such that lead bullets are not recommended. I had a G23 and "moved up" to a S&W SW99 compact that has a fully supported chamber and traditional rifling specifically so I could shoot lead reloads.
Unless you can confirm through visual inspection that a particular make/model you are interested in has a "supported" chamber I'd not hesitate to call or email the manufacturer and ask them outright. [S&W responded promptly to my email inquiry; Ruger doesn't see the need for email so I didn't consider Ruger] I have no doubt that all manufacturers are aware of the Glock Kaboom problems and will know what you are talking about. Be sure you read this link http://www.thegunzone.com/glock/glock-kb-faq.html
