Congrats! I've pretty much always turned my nose up at Russian arms as
I've always heard they aren't very accurate. I picked up an Albanian SKS a while back - son prompted me to - and now I have two! What a delight to shoot! I've got the second (Russian '54) restocked and scoped - what a tack driver! The round is also nice (and smooth) to shoot - you can shoot it all day long and still want more. Almost like a .22 on steroids instead of a military round.

Let me know how you like it. I'm sure you'll love it.

I'm sure I'll love it except for the short LOP. When I got my Norinco back in the 80's I added 3 inches to the stock before buying a compo folder with longer pull. The Norinco is a tack driver, hundreds of rounds and never jammed, even with the cheap duckbill mags.
