CCW advice

Hi all, I sure would appreciate some advice on a small, light carry weapon. I'm no handgun experrt but I know how to handle a semi-auto and, my favorite, S&W .357 revolver. I'm going to get an Ohio concealed permit. I won't be carrying most of the time, only occasionally and not holstered. I wnat something to fit in the pants, or jacket pocket. I'm leaning towards a Kel-tec in .32 or maybe the .380. The size is perfect and I've been impressed with the reviews I've read about them but haven't fired one yet. Cost is not much of a factor, size and carryability are.
Any Keltec owners feedback is appreciated.
Any other products or factors I should consider?

    Kel-Tec is a good pistol for the money. lifetime warranty. It isn't a Glock or Sig but it isn't eating up the best part of $600. When you deside I have all the 32's and 380's in stock and will be posting on GB in the next day.

    I owned a P 32 for a while. I had problems while breaking it in, at approximately 170 round count. It would consistently fail to extract. I contacted the folks at KelTec and they sent me replacement parts for free. I finally had to cut the hold-open tab off, to get it to function reliably.

    I would buy the .380 version, as it doesn't have a hold open. Also be sure and test fire it, ( at least 200 rounds ), before carrying it for self-defense purposes.

    I used to carry my HK USP .40 some of the time. I now carry my Kel-Tec P3AT .380 ALL OF THE TIME. In a Disantis pocket holster, it fits in my jeans and looks like a wallet. I wear a light jacket with an inside lapel pocket---it fits in there perfectly, and doesn't "print."
    At 7.2 ounces (Unloaded), it's a tiny, little mousegun that has a lot of roar for its size.
    With no safety, and a very long, double-action trigger pull, it will always go bang if you have to pull the trigger. I don't leave home without it.
    O-sure, it probably would not fare well in a gun battle, but if someone asks for your wallet and you pull out a P3AT instead, the argument is usually over before it starts.

    Thanks for the advice everyone.
    Mateo: I hadn't considered the PD340 but I'm going to include that in the list. The length and the weight are fine. I'll have to see if the drum would make too much of a print in the pants pocket but I like the idea of the power of a .357 round over a 380.

    Check it out. It is a VERY lightwieght vehicle with no signature.

    I carry it with the "pager Pal" inside the pants holster.

    The NAA Guardian is also not a bad option, it comes with a wallet like holster and is very easily concealable.[:D]

    I am very happy with my Kel Tec P3AT. There is no other gun quite like it. Small, light, flat, and simple to use.
