FN 5.7 IOM/USG

Can anyone explain the difference between the IOM and USG models?

I researched this myself, and as far as I can tell, the sights and trigger guard were a little different. IOM stands for Individual Officer Model. I own the IOM and love it. Great shooter.

The mag release on the USG is larger than the IOM. Plus the grip texture is rougher on the USG.

USG's also come w/ 20 rnd mags. which btw will work just fine in the IOM

Super gun/cartridge!

If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!

My IOM came with 3 20s as well. Biggest reason I bought it. It is great at the range!
