Krico rifle
I recently recieved a Krico 308 - that has been setup for competitve silohette shooting. I obtained this gun in a will settlement. I think it is a sniper model - with the muzzle break removed and a weight added. Can some one tell me how to identify the gun and basic value.

Recently I bought a bolt action Krico rifle, 22LR, that I can not identify. It has a 24" barrell and a european style stock with a cheek rest. The stock has schnable forend that is black. On the right side of the barrell it is marked KRIEGESPORTE & CO STUTTGART.
On the right side of the barrell it is marked MADE IN GERMANY CAL 22 LR 309070. On the top of the barrell it is marked Krico in script inside a circle. On the left side of the receiver there are two proof marks and 67. ( I assume this means it was made in 1967. ) It has a hooded front sight and a leaf rear sight with three leaves, one is marked 75 and the other is marked 100. The third one doesn't fold down and is not marked. The butt of the stock is plastic and is marked Krico in script within a circle. The magazine is detachable and is marked Krico, in script, on the bottom. There is a smallm aluminum bedding pillar on the inside of the stock. On the inside of the action between the magazine and trigger it is marked KRJ217. It has a plastic grip cap.

The basic value would depend on what model it is, condition and how original it is, as compared to when it left the factory.
Preferably if you could provide QUALITY photos, or at the very least give us a rundown of ALL markings and concise physical characteristics/condition of the rifle. This would be the only way we could help you identify/value your rifle.

if you post a picture, i can probably help...it sounds like it could be a 640s or a 650s but need to see the rifle...most all 308's were one of the 600 series though...ballpark general value is 850-1000, but market is less as there is not much of a following fro these fine guns in the states 0 -
