I have not heard if Bushmaster has stopped making the Carbon-15. I have a Pistol version of the carbon -15 that was made by Professional Ordnance in Lake Havasu city Arizona.

Bushmaster bought P.O. in 2003 and took over the Carbon 15 name. The guns are still made in Havasu but carry the Bushmaster name, thats assuming they have not dropped the carbon-15.

It is on the main page of their web site so I am sure that they are still selling them. http://www.bushmaster.com/

Yes, I recall now that there was a company, not Bushmaster, that produced the Carbon-15 name. Well, I hope Bushmaster does not close them down. Just rumor I read in a GB auction for a complete rifle. Think the auction called the auctioned item the 'Carbon-21, Model.

Proffesional Ordnance originally sold the Carbon 15. Most of them were junk, neat idea, not fully worked out. Proffesional Ordnance declared Bankrupcy (too many warranty returns??? who knows?) and Bushamster (BM) bought them. Supposedly Bushmaster worked the bugs out of the design and is now selling them as Bushmaster Carbon 15's. I hear that Bushy is offering warranty repairs on Pro Ord Carbon 15's but I doubt they are free repairs! If you see one on here you want to make sure you get a new Bushmaster not an old (NIB) Pro Ord. gun.

My Carbon -15 pistol was made by Professional Ord, and it had a couple problems but they were taken care of, and it shoots great now.

One of the problems was the rear section of the snap on muzzle brake broke off. Since P.O. was, by that time, owned by Bushmaster, it was no longer covered by warranty and I had to buy the new part, about 25 bucks.
