Using CLP

I've never used an aerosol-type cleaner before. After running a bore brush through my AR-15 clone, can I take some CLP (Breakfree), and with the bolt removed, spray the CLP into the receiver/ejector area and let dry? Then run an oiled patch through the bore and call it good?

  my experiences in the marine corps....we never 'let dry'. use a small amount and wipe "kinda dry"...enough were you knows its on there, not so much were you can tip your rifle to 1 side and it runs off......
