Rifled barrel and 12 ga Foster slugs
New question on rifled barrel and slugs:
Can I use regular (and cheap) Foster slugs in my rifled barrel just to initially sight in and "get on paper" and then switch over to premium sabots that I'll use for hunting ?
I thought the Fosters might hurt barrel or leave too much lead deposit
Thank you.
What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him? Deut 4:7

It will lead up real bad......at least that was my experience when my buddy shot several through my 870 that I loaned him for deer season.

I'd agree on the leading, and also doubt that the Foster-style slugs will print anywhere near the sabot slugs anyway, or even give a useful "group" (more like a pattern?). At least, when I tried them, they didn't; neither did the Brennekes. 0
