I just got a used 390 and the threads where the barrel holding nut screws on appear stripped. the queations are, should the first 4 threads be of a lesser dia.by enough to create a slight shoulder on the rod? If not, what possibye caused the stripping(lose barrel firing)? And finally were can i get a new part at a good price if you think it must be replaced. Thanks for helping, you guy are always the bomb mike

  should the first 3 or 4 threads on the rod that the barrel screws on to be of a lesser dia. than the rest or are mine stripped. if stripped what might have caused this?where can i get a new part if you think i need one
